I lead the Young Research Group for Permafrost Region Greenhouse Gas Fluxes. My research focuses on the response of greenhouse gas fluxes, such as CO2, methane, and nitrous oxide, from northern permafrost and wetland ecosystems to environmental changes resulting from factors such as climate warming, permafrost thaw, longer duration of soil thaw, and interannual variability.
