Ruth Cerezo-Mota (UNAM): “Recognise your own biases”
Interviewed by Johanna Kinder, Ulrike Richter, and Karolin Stiller
“Regional climate models are just defined for a small region. You use them for two main reasons: first, because they are of high resolution. [...] Secondly, global models require a lot of computational power. We, the people of the Global South, may not have this power. Therefore, regional models offer a solution for how to run simulations on your own laptop, so you can do experiments for your own region.”
