Streamer

To record reflection seismic signals we use different seismic streamers. Streamers are cables filled with hydrophones. Normally, we use our 3000 m long digital streamer with 240 channels (hydrophone groups), in shallow areas a 600 m long digital streamer with 192 channels. The length is then adjusted accordingly to sea-ice conditions. Furthermore, we own a 100 m long high-resolution streamer that is also suitable for ice conditions. In addition, for work on small vessels or boats mainly in lakes we use a 150 m long portable streamer with 24 channels.
