Infrastructure of the Aquaculture Research Group
For our research work, we have access to the Center for Aquaculture Research (ZAF) with its modern and scalable recirculation systems for feed and husbandry trials on a large and small scale. We have rented premises at the INP Innovation Center in Nordenham for our experiments with algae cultures. In addition, close cooperation with other AWI research groups enables us to use techniques and know-how from numerous other areas, e.g. electron microscopes and genetics.
