Research interests
I am a biogeochemical modeller with a strong expertize in Arctic observations (satellites, in situ). Positioned at the interface between physics and biogeochemistry, my interests are the impacts of Climate Change on the cycling of nutrients and carbon, and subsequent effects on the carbon pumps and ecosystem. My latest investigations concern remineralization, terrigenous inputs, and (sub)mesoscale interactions. I currently lead the nuArctic BMBF funded project, at AWI in Germany.
